World Theatre day

World Theatre Day is celebrated annually on 27 March. It was launched by the International Theatre Institute (ITI)in 1961 to celebrate the power of theatre as an art form, highlight cultural exchange, and champion creativity. It’s a brilliant chance to bring some cultural flair into the building.

•  Share fun facts about theatre history, famous plays, or actors

• Display inspiring quotes from plays and musicals in reception.

• Offer popcorn, ice cream tubs, or other “interval snacks.”

• Run a raffle for tenants to win theatre vouchers or tickets to a local production.

• Invite local drama students, a theatre company, or a small ensemble to perform in the lobby.
