Volunteer Week

UK Volunteer Week is an annual celebration of volunteering, usually held in early June (in 2025, it runs 1–7 June). It’s a chance to recognise volunteers, encourage community involvement, and inspire tenants to give back.

• Volunteer Wall: Display stories or photos of tenant volunteers and their impact.

• Digital Shout-Outs: Use newsletters or screens to highlight volunteering opportunities or inspirational volunteer stories.

• Share a daily tip or resource for tenants interested in volunteering locally.

Mid-Range

• Charity Collaboration: Partner with a local charity to organise a small in-office drive (e.g., collecting items, creating care packages).

• Info Session: Invite a local charity representative to talk about volunteering opportunities.

Top-Range

• Team Volunteering Event: Organise a group volunteer activity nearby (park clean-up, community gardening, charity project).
