Stress Awareness Month is observed every April. It’s designed to highlight the causes and effects of stress, promote healthy coping strategies, and raise awareness about mental wellbeing. It’s a perfect opportunity to create light-touch but impactful tenant engagement around mindfulness and self-care.

 Promoting mental wellbeing, raising awareness of stress, and sharing strategies to manage it effectively.

Cost-Neutral

  • Share daily relaxation or breathing exercises

  • Encourage tenants to take short “pause breaks” during the day.

Mid-Range

  •  Offer short guided meditation or breathing workshops in a communal area.

  • Create a small cosy space for taking time out

  • Encourage tenants to commit to a simple habit each week (e.g., daily walk, journaling).

Top-Range

  • Invite a wellbeing expert, therapist, or coach to run a session on stress management.

  • Wellbeing Fair: Host multiple stands with activities like yoga, mindfulness, nutrition, and ergonomic advice.

  • Partner with a local charity or mental health organisation for a sponsored awareness event or fundraising initiative.
