An idea from Metro, Hammersmith – We handed out wrist bands and badges for tenants and their children. We had sweet cups filled with an assortment of green sweeties to take home. Most importantly we had our guess the number of sweets in the jar game, the tenant with the closest number gets to keep the jar! We have had Irish folk music blasting through the lobby all day to bring the St Patrick’s day vibes.

Idea from 5 St Paul’s Square, Liverpool – ‘Shake your Shamrocks’ was the phrase on everyone’s lips this St Patricks Day at 5 St Paul’s Square! We labelled green shamrocks with ‘Cupcake’ or ‘Golden Coin’ and placed them in a green lucky bag. Each person paid £1 to shake the bag of shamrocks and pull out a winner – an Irish themed cupcake that was kindly baked by one of our pop up vendors. All proceeds go to our building charity, Claire House Children’s Hospice. A total of £35 has been raised.
