National Food Bank Day

National Food Bank Day is observed on the first Friday of September. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about food insecurity and supporting food banks across the country. It encourages individuals and communities to donate food and money to food banks to help those facing hunger.

Cost neutral:

• Organise a collection of non perishable goods in reception and donate to a local food bank. If you get in touch with them, they will usually provide you with a list of items that they are in most need of and will come an collect once the collection is complete
