National Clean Air Day

Clean Air Day is the UK’s biggest air pollution campaign, organised by Global Action Plan. In 2025, it will fall on Thursday 19 June. It’s an excellent awareness day for office buildings since it ties directly into health, sustainability, and urban living — issues tenants really care about. Raising awareness of air pollution and encouraging clean, healthy air for all.

Cost-Neutral

• Awareness Posters & Screens: Share practical tips (e.g. “Try walking or cycling to work once a week” / “Turn off engines when idling”).

• Green Commute Challenge: Encourage tenants to log a car-free commute for the day (walk, cycle, train, or carshare).

• Indoor Plant Display: Move existing office greenery to the reception area with notes on how plants help improve air quality.

• Wellbeing Break: Organise a lunchtime “fresh air walk” around the local area, led by FOH reps

Mid-Range

• Hydration & Fruit Stand: Set up a “Breathe Easy” station with citrus fruit, mint water, and healthy snacks.

• Tenant Pledges: Provide small pledge cards where tenants commit to one air-friendly action (e.g. reducing car use, choosing public transport). Display these on a communal board.

Top-Range

• Tenant Green Fair: Host stalls with eco-friendly products, e-bike trials, or air quality charities promoting awareness.
