International Day of Charity
The date of 5 September was chosen in order to commemorate the anniversary of the passing away of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 “for work undertaken in the struggle to overcome poverty and distress, which also constitute a threat to peace.”
Cost neutral

Metro Building, Hammersmith: ‘We had DKMS charity come in to sign tenants up to the Stem Cell register. Its an amazing charity spreading awareness about the desperate need for stem cell donors, which is very often the only cure for those with terminal Leukaemia. DKMS came on site and we went from office to office to introduce the charity and how easy stem cell donation is! We had 30+ sign ups which we are very proud of! FOH made up some sweet bags with red themed sweets in them, and we had pens and wristbands on hand as freebies. We are looking forward to partnering up with them again in the future.’
