Global Tiger Day

Nearly 100,000 tigers roamed Asia a hundred years ago. Today, the estimated number brings the tiger population to fewer than 4,000 tigers in the wild. Global leaders focus on the tiger during meetings designed to promote a system for protecting and enhancing their natural habitat. One of the goals of International Tiger Day is to raise money to help save tigers and increase their population.
