Black History Month
Black History Month is an annual observance that recognises, honours, and celebrates the history, culture, achievements, and contributions of Black people. In the U.S. and Canada, it is observed in February, while in the U.K., Ireland, and the Netherlands, it is marked in October. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the struggles against racial injustice, highlight the resilience and creativity of the Black community, and promote education, inclusivity, and cultural appreciation.
