“Last week was one of the most exciting weeks at The Capital, as Front-of-House Team organised an amazing GSS Exhibition and hosted it for the whole week! We decided to tie it with upcoming Global Recycling Day, as the artist we had on site creates recycled art. By working with recycled materials, GSS (the artist) encourages her viewers to question the sustainability and ecological impact of the artistic process.
The art exhibition encompassed cutting-edge modern pieces and offered impressive experience for the curious. GSS also raised money selling her clothing pieces to raise money for Alder Hey, giving the money to The Capital Team to donate on her behalf. Whilst at The Capital GSS started to create a modern piece to say ‘thank you’ to The Capital building and encouraged our tenants to take part in creative process of making a ‘Love Lock Liverpool 23’.”
