During November Deborah, Park Engagement Manager at Farnborough Aerospace Centre in Hampshire has encouraged occupiers of the business park to collect donations for Farnborough Food Bank, part of the Trussell Trust. This branch of the Food Bank serves the borough of Rushmoor & surrounding areas.
With the cost of living on the rise, now more than ever, people are looking to Food Banks for help. 1 in 5 of the UK population live below the poverty line and with our support the Food Bank are able to provide ‘Three-day emergency food supplies’ given to people in crisis.
The Food Bank gave them a list of most needed items which included – Cereal, fruit juice, tinned items, cleaning products and toiletries plus an assortment of festive foods.
