On September 6th St Philips Point celebrated One Great Day in order raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. They raised money by selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts and giving away pens and lollipops from the charity One Great Day. Everyone enjoyed it and loved the doughnuts. Because One Great Day is an event that can last throughout September they have extended the fundraising by having a jar of jelly beans on reception which people can donate 50p to guess how many beans are in the jar. On September 30th they will announce who had the closest guess and they will win the jar of jelly beans!
