On Thursday 1st September 2022 Sophie & Katie from Oakhurst and Brockbourne House hosted a summer fete for all tenants to enjoy. By all accounts, it was a great success with a huge turnout across all companies. Of course it was going to be popular with the turn out of a candyfloss maker, popcorn machine, and an ice cream truck.
Tenants from both buildings were playing games together and getting to know each other which was really great to see. They had vintage lawn games, hook a duck, splat the rat, croquet, and a coconut shy! The team also held a raffle in which there were three prizes of retro sweet hampers, and they raised over £370 for The British Heart Foundation.
