Keeping our people happy

At LAH Property Marketing we recognise that healthy, happy people are productive people that go the extra mile for our clients.

But how do we know our people are healthy and happy? We know because we ask our people about how they are feeling. We want to ensure that our people have the help and support to deliver the best results for our clients and that requires creating the right culture and network. We asked our people how they would describe the culture of the business and we were bowled over by what they said. This word-cloud gives a flavour, capturing the words that kept coming up on the survey when respondents were asked to describe our culture.

Engagement and Culture

Engagement rates are sky high and we believe that is because of the great partnership we have between LAH and its clients.

One of the most important findings was that our colleagues overwhelmingly felt valued, that they work in safe environments which are free of bullying and harassment and where people feel managers are supportive and care about their wellbeing. These factors are critically important to the culture of our business we do care and we want employees to always feel free to speak to us if they have a problem so that it can be addressed positively.

Wellbeing Score

We are just at the beginning of our wellbeing journey

Although there is more to do we were pleased to receive a Wellbeing Maturity Index (WMI) Score of 63 indicating that we are building on sound foundations, and an average employee wellbeing score of 65 which places us significantly above the UK average wellbeing score.

Our difference is what defines us

Our difference is what defines us in everything we do, we are champions of diversity and we are proud to have a truly diverse workforce.

More than 20% of our employees are from ethnically diverse communities and more than 10% of our employees are members of the LGBTQ+ community. We would like to think we are genuinely ahead of the curve in every aspect of EDI.

Loyalty and Commitment

40% of respondents had been with the business for 2-5 years

The acid test for any organisation is how long do your employees stay with you and so we were really pleased to see that nearly 40% of respondents had been with the business for 2-5 years or more!

I couldn’t have asked for better, LAH has allowed me to develop my career quickly, with so much support, and they have
trusted me to perform and to take on a more senior role.

– Jaymie Barry, Regional Manager

Always moving forward!

A positive, productive, and healthy culture

While LAH has created a positive, productive, and healthy culture, we remain committed to continuously improving our employees’ well-being. We are addressing areas for improvement, such as helping employees get faster appointments with GPs, encouraging more physical activity, and promoting healthier eating through online seminars.
